1910 Bowl Souvenir Osawatomie KS Teddy Roosevelt Dedication John Brown Memorial - $75 - (Topeka, KS)

This is a small footed bowl which is a Souvenir of Osawatomie, Kansas. The bowl is approximately 2.5 inches across and 2 inches tall. A note found inside the bowl reads: "Souvenir of Osawatomie, Kansas. Bought at dedication of the John Brown Memorial Park and Cabin and a rousing speech by President Theodore Roosevelt who came in person. Osawatomie is the childhood home and schooldays home of our very seemly First Lady of Westwood Hills, Barbara Foster." The John Brown Memorial was dedicated in 1910. The bowl is in good vintage condition, some roughness around the top edge which may be part of the design, note is tattered.
