They are Flat Shaped Natural Ox Hair Brushes -- especially nice for Watercolor Painting -- but would work well with oils or acrylics too! Ideal for blending and washes. Lower cost alternative to sable and sable blend brushes! Natural bristles work well with oil paints since they can withstand cleaning with solvents. Made in Germany.
