Antique ART NOUVEAU French Vincent Statue Bronze Clock Richard Coeur De Lion - $405 - (Fox Lake, IL)

Here is a Vincent clock with what appears to be a writer composer standing at his table work on a book about Richard the Lion Hearted and another piece on dance that I couldn't quite make out. A beautiful casting in bronze does not appear to have been gold gilted but who knows for sure. I do not have the key or the pendulum so it is untested. Here is what I can tell you. The springs are both good condition since when I move the minute hand past the hour or half hour the clock does chime. And something I have not seen before, when I wound the spring for the clock side, the minute hand simply started spinning around and when I move the minute hand it advances on its own as well.The clock measures 16 3/4" tall 13 1/2" wide and approximately 6 " from back to front. Very heavy weighs in at impressive 11 lbs. Thanks for looking 032019BJJ
