Vintage Dual Handled Cup or Bowl Etched Glass with Sterling Overlay by Rockwell DescriptionVintage etched glass cup or bowl with 2 handles and a Sterling Silver overlay. The glass has etched grapes on vines along with evenly space etched vertical lines all around the sides. The base and the rim have Sterling Silver overlays and the tops of each handle have a painted silver on top. On the bottom there is the maker's mark for Rockwell Silver Company. Rockwell worked out of Meriden, CT from 1907 to 1978 and specialized in Sterling holloware and silver overlay items. SpecsStands 2.25 inches in height with a top rim diameter of 4 inches. The length to the ends of the handles is 5.5 inches. ConditionComes in vintage preowned condition. The Sterling Silver has a light tarnish/patina and light surface scratches from age and normal use. Around the base there are some vertical crease lines that appear to be from when the Silver was overlaid. The glass appears to have a small chip on the base underneath the overlaid silver, the chip cannot be felt on the bottom or through the silver.
