This decal kit is made for Linkbelt 250 X3. These decals fit the machine with no trimming required. The outer curves on the counterweight are a little tricky to install and require the use of a little heat to properly install due to the compound curve. With the Link-Belt kits, you simply set the bottom of the decal on the top of the bottom rail and roll the edge under which gives a factory fit. All of our decals are the correct size and require no trimming when properly installed. These are printed on high quality 7 year Oracal air egress vinyl and laminated with a 5 year overlaminate. Many other companies selling decals dont use a laminate to save time and money. All quality wraps, signs and decals that you see will have this very important protective layer installed. We use genuine OEM ink in our printers to provide you with a consistent and durable product. Why is laminate important? An overlaminate protects the printed graphic from chemicals, detergents, scratching and fading. Without this, the print on the decal will fade faster, be very susceptible to scratching just from general usage and washing, and many common cleaning agents will wash ink right off. Laminates also make the decal a little more rigid which makes installing them alot easier than an unlaminated vinyl that stretches and wrinkles very easily. For indoor usage this is not as important but on exterior applications it is necessary. What is air egress vinyl? Air egress channels has tiny air channels embossed into the adhesive which allows an easy bubble free installation. The air channels permit small amounts of trapped air to simply be pushed out. WIthout this, it is easy to get air bubbles in your installtion even when using application fluid. Air egress vinyl is always applied dry. Applying it dry makes installation alot faster.
