Vintage Shirley Temple "Poor Little Rich Girl Doll" from the Danbury Mint Shirley Temple Dolls of the Silver Screen Collection in Original 1986 Box. Box shows light shelfwear. This doll is in excellent pre-owned condition. This doll comes with all fashion and doll stand. Officially authorized by Shirley Temple, this heirloom-quality porcelain doll was available exclusively from the Danbury Mint. The doll's warm brown eyes, darling dimples and radiant expression capture to perfection the bubbly personality that endeared Shirley to millions. She measures 14 inches in height. The doll's head, arms and legs are crafted of fine bisque porcelain. Her facial features are artfully hand-painted, and her famous golden curls are carefully arranged by hand. Her curls are still pinned. The doll is charmingly attired from head to toe in a meticulously hand-tailored authentic re-creation of Shirley Temple's costume from her famous 1936 movie, "Poor Little Rich Girl". Shirley is dressed in a soldiers uniform. The jacket is red and white accented with gold buttons and the pants are white trimmed in blue. A white hat with a yellow feather, white belt, black laced shoes and white stockings complete the ensemble.
