VINTAGE FRENCH LINENS,Mixed Monograms,SET OF 8 Large Napkins/Dishtowels,1930-50s - $120 - (Ojai, CA)

From the Foire de Chatou , the large French flea market held twice yearly on the outskirts of Paris for over a century. Set of eight vintage French linens, sized to be used as either large dining napkins or dish towels. All are ivory in color, from the 1930s-1950s, and each is monogrammed (two share the same monogram, the other six are mixed monograms). The monograms are:DC (2),PD,IB,BV,PP,MS, and possibly DC (difficult to tell for sure due to unusual scroll work) In excellent vintage condition showing little evidence of wear and use. Dimensions vary in size , measuring as follows:25 x24 inches25 x 29 inches25 x 31 inches24 x 30 (2) inches27 x 32 inches23x27 inches28 x 33 inches
