vintage Madeira-style basket liner, pale yellow linen w detailed embroid. 22" sq - $11 - (Newark, DE)

I buy vintage linens at local estate auctions to pass them along to you. This is a vintage linen basket liner, just in time for your spring holiday dinners. It is made of finely woven linen in pale yellow and measures roughly 22" square, with each of the four points measuring about 7". The front has white embroidery and cutwork, with a large detailed flower on the front, with a cluster of berries that are very three dimensional. Each lobe has a small white embroidery. The edges are nicely scalloped and overcast. Please use the zoom function to check all the great details. I have laundered and pressed this and found the fabric to be in sound condition, soft and strong and not brittle. It is in very good shape with no spots, stains, holes, or tears, and yours at a bargain price. I am storing this in my smoke-free home, but I do have a cat who sheds copiously, so be aware if you have allergies. Please contact me for more information or photos.
