Vintage Large Reticulated Porcelain Vase with Face Handles - $62 - (Dollard-des Ormeaux, QC)

Very original look to this lovely vase which is porcelain with a cobalt blue glossy glaze for the top and bottom portions as well as the handles. The front and back are handpainted with pink roses and fine green leaves on a cream to brown background. The side handles have flesh colored faces carved into them - so different! The neck is reticulated and there are raised scrolls and ruffles over the vase. The interior is a creamy bisque. The maker is not identified (no marks on the bottom). Condition: Very good apart from slight wear to the gold gilt, and two scuff marks on the back (see photo #4). Rest assured that this vase will be wrapped with the utmost care so that it arrives in the same condition as when it left. Dimensions: Approx. 8" wide, 5" deep, 7½" high.
