Beautiful antique Uranium Vaseline Opalescent art glass vase c1880 Victorian rar - $125 - (Oak Bay, BC)

A very rare and beautifully shaped hand blown Victorian glass vase. It is a swirl of opalescent vaseline uranium glass with a light blue hue. The glass blower formed the vase and then stretched the sides of the glass to long arms which he folded over and attached to the sides of the still liquid glass to make handles. The base has a cookie scalloped base and in the center is the broken pontil.Age: c1850-1880Size: approximately 9" tall and 7 1/2" wide at handles.Condition: Mint: no cracks, no chips, no repairs. There are various bubbles in the glass from the blowing.Shipping: All special and delicate items are triple wrapped, double boxed, tracked and insured.Combined shipping is available.
