Antique from approximately 1950s hand embroidered table runner from Oak Ridge Tennessee. Oak Ridge city was founded during WWII for the Manhattan Project. Known as the Secret City no one was allowed in or out of the city without gov't permission. Many of the wives entertained themselves doing needlework to pass the time. It was a fascinating time in US history. Some slight stains due to age and use. Design and edges need to be finished, some of the butterflies and flowers aren't complete, but it's still usable for crafting or framing. Fabric content is cotton. Measures 12x43 inches.
