None of the sets we have available has any noted defects such as chips, scratches or fading on either the 7 7/8" scalloped plate or 2 1/4" tall footed cup. The backstamp on the plate indicates it is Lefton China, Hand Painted, #1864 and the backstamp on the cup indicates Lefton China, Hand Painted. The set has been displayed in a china cabinet for many years and has never been used.
