Aeromao Talon UAV- Like New Condition-total package new is over $10k - $4,495 - (Tucson, AZ)

This auction is for like new : UAV fixed wing Aeromao Talon. Purchased by Surveying company for photogrammetry purposes and used twice in the last 3 years. We decided to subcontract our mapping services and no longer have a need for this drone. Original receipt was for $8561.36 not including numerous new spare parts listed below. Total package cost new was well over $10,000. Photos of original receipt and contract are included. Everything in photos is included. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE We bought the Aeromao Aeromapper Talon in 2015 and tested it extensively. We ultimately discovered that is wasn’t suitable for our needs. Along the way we found the following to be helpful. The 48” diameter parachute wasn’t suitable for the harsh Sonoran Desert environment. The drone was impacting to ground too hard. We spoke with the owner of Fruity Chutes in California, who supplies the parachutes for Aeromao. After much discussion, we ordered a 60” chute and tested them. He also indicted the release height could be reduced considerably from what Aeromao had indicated. This will reduce the amount of drift as the drone lands. We tested it and found it to be a much softer landing. We are including (2) 48” and (1) 60” chute We were testing a Sony camera with a large lens and filter. As a result, modifications were made to the camera port, and the servo-driven “trap door” was removed. We purchased two Talon kits from China, so we would have spare parts. We also purchased 2 pair of wing extenders and the matching longer carbon fiber spars, to facilitate quick and easy repairs of the wings and tail stabilizers. It’s a long process sending the drone to Canada for repairs. All specially manufactured Aeromao parts can be replaced from the manufacturer if need.
