Antique French Limoges porcelain gilt brass bronze ormolu trinket tray vintage - $59 - (Palm Coast, FL)

An adorable antique French Limoges style romantic winged flute playing cherubs trinket tray, from around the 1920s.The porcelain is most likely from the Limoges porcelain factory, but not signed, nor marked, however the picture on the inside of the tray is so much as a hallmark for Limoges. Note the musical instruments of the gallant and lady. The ormolu is just gorgeous with a nice patina. The gilt has been mainly rubbed off but is consistent for its approximate age. The porcelain is without any breaks, chips or repairs, just some gilding loss to the medallion surrounding the picture of the two lovers. The porcelain is loosely hanging in the ormolu structure, but could do with a little bit of glue to the inner side of the brass/bronze rim. Size: Length 5"Width 4 1/4"See pictures.
