This 1923 Eureka Sport 23, Amilcar, French pedal car is in very good restored condition. These is a scarce pedal car. One of only a handful in the world. This car has a unique drive train assembly, that has two opposing gears that lock together to pedal the car. When you pull the brake level back to engage the drum / band brake, the ratchet gears on the drive axle pull apart to make the pedal car free wheeling. The front and rear wheel assemblies have spring type suspensions. The hood comes off the pedal car to gain access to the battery box, working headlights and an adjustable seat. The fenders, metal body, axles and misc. parts are original to the pedal car. The old pot metal axle supports, steering hub, wheel hub bracket supports, drive ear assembly, have been replaced with aluminum brackets. Out of the handful of survivors of this model Sport 23 pedal car, this is one of a few that has the proper unique drive train, ratchet gear assembly that actually works.
