Jeff Wayne War of the Worlds Martian Tripod Model Kit by Comet Miniatures 1/100 - $200 - (Lebanon, TN)
This is a very very rare resin kit of the Martian War Machine from Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. It was designed by Mike Trim and made by Comet Miniatures out of England. I bought this kit new and have not done any work on this. It is exactly as I bought it many years ago. I am clearing out some old kits I am never going to build. I have included a picture (not part of the auction) of the painting this kit is made from so you can see the design better. The kit is in 1/100 scale and it measures 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide for the main body. My guess is it would stand around 9 inches tall with the legs but I have never assembled it.
