1995 Martin D-1 Dreadnought size Guitar - $900 - (Havre de Grace, MD)

Early Martin D-1 (1995): Solid mahogany back; solid spruce top; mahogany laminate sides; rosewoodfretboard, bridge and head lamination; solid mahogany neck with truss rod. Sometimes said to have a “bolt-on neck” butthe bolt was only to hold the neck in place until the glue dried and could havebeen discarded but was left to simplify construction. Typical Martin qualityconstruction and nicely balanced tone across the strings. String action is verygood all the way down the fretboard. Theguitar is in excellent shape with some small imperfections typical of a usedinstrument which I have tried to show in the pictures. Hard shell case shows alot of usage but provides solid protection.
