Late 19th Century, Albany Slip, Seamed Molded Bird Jug. Created in Red Wing Minnesota. Jug is shown on page 23 in Red Wing Stoneware, an Identification and Value Guide written by Dan DePasquale and Larry Peterson. Written in 1983 (The small white book) The seamed jug has no Cracks or Hairlines. Chip is identified in the Pics. You can see uneven glazeing created by the Manufacturing process while being fired.
