19th Century Primitive Wooden Sorting Table, Rare, Americana. - $750 - (Providence, RI)

Very early Americana primitive possibly Pennsylvania or Connecticut 1800s wooden gate leg sorting table still with traces of early red paint. Table is all pegged with hand cut nails in areas of very early repair. Legs might have been repaired at some point? See photos for best description. This table is in excellent condition! Has great wear on top of table and the drop leaf still has all that early reddish paint. Looks like someone started to refinish this in certain areas due to color change of wood. Wood looks to be pine but I'm no expert on wood so can't be sure. The measurements are 41 3/4" long with side up. 28" in height 34 1/4" wide. This is one of the best sorting tables that I've come across that is not all damaged and still has the chute.
