Sissy That Run! the Official Queer and Trans Boston Marathon Party! - N.A. - (Boston, MA)
Join us for a fabulous party celebrating LGBTQ runners in the Boston Marathon! Since 2012 The Theater Offensive (TTO) has had Marathon runners going the distance in support of its queer youth theatre troupe TRUE COLORS, hosting a post-marathon party at its offices located near the Marathon finish line on Boylston Street. This year, in a special collaboration with Club Café, TTO has grander visions, hoping to make the 2019 party bigger, bolder, and even more inclusive, opening up the event to all LGBTQ runners and supporters. This year’s event promises to be a fabulous affair, brimming with drag performances, boas, and presentations by local LGBTQ artists. As a way of honoring LGBTQ runners, the party, taking place at Club Cafe, will feature a slideshow of LGBTQ runners in this year’s marathon, as well as live tracking of runners during the race (runners are invited to email their pictures and bib numbers to Theater Offensive prior to the event).
