Ray Ban is etched into the top center rim of sunglasses. Under the same rim is written B & L 1/10 12K GF In doing some research I found that Bausch & Lomb developed this style of aviator glasses for the military during WWII to reduce the glare for pilots while flying. The sunglasses I am selling here were purchased at an estate sale and are the same style developed for the WWII pilots. To preserve the vintage nature of the glasses and case, they are in the original condition that I found them. I have not cleaned or polished anything. I am also not a collector of vintage eyewear, Bausch & Lomb or Ray Ban. Being sold as-is.I do my best to describe all items accurately. Please see photos for additional description.
