Adopt Mama & Provo a Chinchilla small animal in Avondale, LA (20522267) - N.A. - (Westwego, LA)

Provo is a silver beige with a unique eye pigmentation. Mama is a standard female. Provo is now neutered. Mama and Provo must be adopted together. Even though they are young, they were bred and had a kit. Mama got pregnant again in breedback and had two kits. Luckily she was here for long enough that she received adequate nutrition and she came through quite healthy. Provo was bred by Sunset Chinchillas. He is very precious and easily handled. We don't know where Mama came from. She was very skinny when she came to us but has put on weight and is healthy. Both have been given wellness checks by our veterinarian. Mama was aggressive in protecting her kits, but she has calmed down since they have left. She is much more tolerant of women than men They will be available in late November. Both love their out of cage time, especially Mama. Regular playtimes make a big difference to her. She tolerates being handled and is starting to enjoy scritches. Once he gets to know you, Provo is a little lover.
