COMMUNITY ACTION OF SOUTHERN KENTUCKY INC.   POSITION                                          LOCATION                                       PROGRAM Teacher Assistant                                               Allen County                                                       Children’s Services     Closing Date: Open Until Filled                                 Full-time position with our Children’s Services Program in Allen County.  Duties will include assisting the teacher in planning and carrying out the daily activities of the classroom and providing educational instruction to three and four year old children.                Qualifications:                                    Minimum qualifications are a High School Diploma or GED required for this position.  An associate, baccalaureate, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education; or a baccalaureate or advanced degree in coursework relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool age children; or a Child Development Associate (CDA) appropriate to the age of children being served preferred.   Salary:                                                  Minimum salary for this position will be $9.18 per hour, with an excellent benefit package.  This position requires a pre-employment drug screen.   Application Process:                         For immediate consideration you will need to submit a resume, with a cover letter indicating salary history to the address and/or e-mail below, or you may apply in person at the following Community Action locations:   921 Beauty Avenue                              …
