After a 3 yr hiatus Girl Power Hour networking events will return in 2017, ten years after they were launched. In the beginning, "GPH" set out with the idea to create stylish and fun networking events for women...(1.) because the original 2 founders (who meet a run-of-the-mill networking event) found traditional networking boring and uninspiring (aka - uncool) (2.) there weren't any networking events specifically geared toward women and (3.) they wanted to build community. That idea turned into a reality very quickly and GPH grew so fast that the girls couldn't keep up with demand! After a year and half of fast and furious success, 1 of the founders moved to Africa to follow her heart and the other founder took over. She rebranded and relaunched the company with a new team and a new mission - bigger and even better events!
