PRE PRODUCTION , pen ink 351 in the neck pocket These were only custom ordered and imported from Japan , hand built . made before 1984 . Birdseye maple neck with ebony fingerboard, action , responce and sustain to die for , hands down amazing instrument.Original hand wound pickups with cloth wire , Chrome badass II bridge and schaller tuners with Drop E.very rare bass indeed, from my private collection . One small wear spot in the finish on the back of neck (see photo) No cracks or funny stuff here . Ships in a vintage 70's Fender Plastic hard case , old and used but does the trick .
