Per Diem Deputy Sheriff - N.A. - (Newfane, VT)

The Windham County Sheriffs Department is seeking qualified individuals with an interest in county-based law enforcement. Our program primarily promotes from within and the majority of our full time officers have come from the part-time/per diem ranks. We accept applications from people who are a minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma. The candidate must successfully complete a screening process that include written tests, polygraph exam, background investigation, physical exam, and interview. Physical fitness tests are required before performing certain duties within the Department, though do not preclude deputies from performing other various duties or services.
