1984-85 Yamaha SL-400S Studio Lord Les Paul in a classic tobacco burst finish. The Studio Lord has most of the specs found on a 1958-1960 Les Paul Standard including - Rosewood fretboard - Mahogany neck - Maple top - Alnico Humbuckers - Open Book headstock - Plastic Kluson style tuners and weighs 9.5 lbs. This guitar feels and plays like a quality vintage Les Paul Standard. Superb natural sustain.Outstanding Humbuckers with big time rich tones and excellent output.The neck plays fast and easy and the frets show only minimal wear. Right now the action is set low for easy fingering. Cosmetically the finish remains nice and shiny.But there's a couple of small chips around the body edges and one tuner is missing the back.It's strictly a cosmetic problem and the tuner functions nicely.
