Vintage Sterling Silver William Spratling Bracelet 980 Taxco Mexico - $550 - (Hillsborough, NC)

Beautiful bracelet in very nice condition. I believe it originally came with a pin and tube closure and was altered. Most likely the last narrow panel and pin tube were removed and replaced by this other type clasp. Absolutely beautiful work on the alteration and I think I prefer it to the pin closure. Its much easier to put on and dont have to worry about it wearing down. Alteration does not look recent. Bracelet with appropropriate spratling mark and 980 and the clasp is stamped sterling. Will fit up to 7 1/4" wrist. Weighs 107 grams. Tarnish and patina. May need cleaning. If unsure of anything please ask questions.
