Water was leaking through my waterproof outer shell and it was cold too boot. It was some of the worst weather conditions I have ever tried to photograph in, at least when it comes to water and rain. I suppose that's why they call it a 'Rain Forest', because it rains a lot - maybe?The one thing I had going for me was there was absolutely no wind. The perfect light, no wind, trees and shrubs washed off leaving no trace of dust allowed natures true colors to shine forth. Amazingly the rain, due to the lengthy exposure, doesn't show up on film. Some images need a story, one that helps explain them. This image needs no story as it is capable of standing on its own. Perhaps this image helps explain why I chose to live in the Pacific Northwest."
