Post-war era #2379 Rio Grande F3 AB Diesel unit. Yellow with green on front and black lettering.Louvered roof vents filled in portholes, cast in side ladders. Magnetic disc coupler on the front end of the A unit. Unit is equipped with a D cell battery.(No included). Has a three position directional unit whose control lever underneath the chassis. The dual vertical worm drive motors powered each axle that utilizes Magnetraction. Designed to work on O guage track. When used on 027, diesel will scratch the machine housing,.
