Collector-owned and never played, this guitar is truly a once in a lifetime guitar for the Martin fan or collector. Beautiful Sitka Spruce top covers the rich East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Intricate and beautiful abalone bindings wrap every edge of this magnificent guitar. This was purchased from a collector who played the guitar maybe an hour at the very most. It has stayed in it's plush Martin hardshell case ever since. Always humidified and kept stored for safe keeping. A wonderful addition to any collection. True to the early Martin D-45s, the modern D-45 Vintage features the soft V-shaped neck and snowflake inlays from the 1930's. Abalone basically everywhere you can inlay this gorgeous binding and the traditional "C F Martin" headstock inlay. Genuine mahogany neck and open back geared tuners. No dents, dings, barely any signs that this guitar has been touched, much less played. These are selling for around $10,000. But not here.
