AWESOME Antique Vintage Mexican (New Mexican?) Doors - $1,250 - (Los Lunas, NM)
These old doors are most likely from a church in Mexico - or maybe New Mexico. I found them in Belen, NM.You are buying the pair and I won't consider selling them individually.They definitely make a statement - and could be used in a thousand different ways.... as doors, as a fabulous headboard, as a room divider, or as a backdrop against a wall. I originally bought them to use as a facade for a Murphy Bed in a guest bedroom. But, unfortunately that never happened and I'm unable to store them any longer.The reason I bought them is that they don't have holes for doorknobs or deadbolts, they don't need to be stripped, and they don't have a lot of holes where hinges were..... They could easily be used as they are (or painted) and hung on the "barn-door" tracks that are so popular today. They are each 3' wide and 8' tall. Together, they are 6' x 8'.They are as I found them and are being sold "as is" since they could be used so many different ways. They have an absolutely beautiful patina.Their condition is appropriate for their age.... it looks as though they've been repaired in a couple places over the years, but the repairs aren't really visable.The design is the same on the front and backFor such large doors, they lay very flat and there is virtually no warping.I'm happy to take more pictures if you are really interested.The price is pretty firm, but if you are interested MAKE AN OFFER.These can be picked up locally or, if you are in the area, I can deliver them to you for a small fee .... we can work it out.Otherwise, if you want to arrange for shipping, I'll be happy to work with you.
