White Elephant Preview Sale - N.A. - (Oakland, CA)

The 58th annual White Elephant Sale, the biggest and best rummage sale in Northern California, returns to Oakland March 4 and 5, 2017. Shoppers will have early access to items during the Preview Sale, which takes place on Sunday, January 29 from 10 am to 4 pm. Proceeds from the Sale, which is organized and presented by the Oakland Museum Women's Board, benefit the Oakland Museum of California. For the past 2yrs, the Sale raised over $2 Million each year to support the Museum. Named 1 of San Francisco's Top 100 Events by BizBash, the celebrated rummage sale spans 96,000 square ft and includes nineteen departments, offering a range of quality used goods, including furniture, artwork, household items, china, sporting goods, fine jewelry, Asian collectibles, tools, music, books, vintage and contemporary clothing. Located in a warehouse at 333 Lancaster Street near the Oakland Estuary, the event is made possible by donations from the public and with the help of more than 1,000 volunteers.
