The two outer sides with color comics/cartoons. The Front page with a large panel comic running joke series, very striking, two cartoon strips on back Flip Boys and Muggsy. Inside is regular newspaper text, stories, features for children. Broadsheets around 22" by 16". AS RARE AS IT GETS for the serious vintage comic collector, and scholar of newspaper comic history. Pages like this highly sought after, nowadays. Collectors who own rarely sell these rare pioneering pages & the rest are mainly in institution collections. The Colors are still bright and though quite fragile the page is still fairly supple, the edges however need to be handled carefully as there is much loss, chipping and closed tears (that have been taped on the back to hold) to the margins as the scans show, HOWEVER the panoramic full page panel is intact.This is a striking front page section, high;y collectible given the 100+ year age, we advise keeping it in the protective poly-bag except for the rare occasion when one might want to inspect it more closely, or just framing it so it can be displayed.
