This listing is for a NIV 1984, Single Column Bible published by Cambridge University Press. These are out of print and very hard to find. This one is bound in black calfskin leather. This Bible is brand new off a store shelf but there are some things to note. The box has some shelf wear with the corners slightly crushed, see pictures 9 and 10. The bindery was a bit liberal with glue on the tailband, see photo 11. This Bible will be a delight to look at, to handle - and to read. The Bible text is the popular New International Version, printed right across the page, with no columns - so it reads just like a regular book. There are footnotes to explain translation points and a useful Table of Weights and Measures. The text is a comfortable reading size, equally useful for public reading or personal devotions.
