Churn Dash Quilt, Handcrafted & Hand Quilted, 100" x 86", Thimbleberries - $350 - (Coon Rapids, IA)

This new (never used) quilt was handcrafted by me and hand quilted by an Amish lady. The quilting is as beautiful on the back as on the front (approximately 8 even stitches per inch). The fabrics used are various Thimbleberries prints on assorted light backgrounds. The sashing is primitive muslin & the small squares are a brown print. The border & binding is a gold background with red and blue flowers & a green vine. The backing is a natural 200 count 100% cotton muslin. The batting is low-loft poly. The pictures show the quilt on a queen-size bed with pillows underneath. This is a one-of-a-kind quilt with beautiful hand quilting. The traditional pattern is also known as Monkey Wrench, Hole in the Barn Door, and Coffee Mill. Made in the USA.
