These are new skis from last season. Atomic System binding included! The Atomic Blackeye is a fantastic ski for the beginners to intermediates that want stability and solid edge hold on the snow. Atomic's ARC Technology uses a single mounting position on the center of the ski. One mounting point allows the ski to bend and flex naturally when it is engaged into a turn, more consistent edge contact and pressure on the snow. The All Mountain Rocker has the front 15% of the ski with rocker for easy turn initiation. The Blackeye has a Titanium Stabilizer that has a single layer of titanium that sits underneath the wood core that improves shock absorption and increases the torsional strength to give you smooth skiing at faster speeds and variable conditions. Atomic's Stepdown Sidewall 2.0 uses a cap construction in the tips and tails that improve maneuverability, and a vertical sidewall underfoot that holds a better edge on the icy or firmer snow. The 81mm waist of the Blackeye is wide enough to be supportive in tricky conditions, but not too wide that it can become cumbersome for the beginner to manage while allowing you to improve your technique and skills.
