Joe Strummer Played and Signed Guitar Up for auction is our own Joe Strummer signed and played acoustic guitar from 2001. Joe and the Mescaleros were playing a small set at Tower Records in Chicago. This guitar was brought in by a stage hand backstage after the show and Joe picked up and played around with it before signing, the longest and most prominent song he fooled around on it was Johnny Appleseed and then a sample of Redemption Song which everyone loved. He then said "that was it" and "we just did a full set for you all". He and the Mescaleros signed and started seeing others waiting to chat with him. It is VERY rare that there is ever anything available that is legitimate from Joe Strummer on eBay. This is the real deal and is an unbelievable part of history.
