Up for auction are a matching pair of quartersawn oak JM Young rocking chairs dating from the early 1900’s that are in excellent condition!! The chairs feature all select quartersawn oak. Hard to find a matching pair!! The chairs are in excellent condition and has recently been refinished with a medium oak stain and a lacquer finish applied. Quality JM Young construction with chairs being pinned and also contain corbels on the arms. The seats contain the original springs but the chairs do appear to have been professional reupholstered at some point. The chairs also contain the original paper labels! The chairs date to the early 1900's so normal wear is appropriate for an item of this age. You will not be disappointed!! Please check my feedback....only quality quartersawn oak antiques sold.
