CHINA CUPBOARD / CINDY McQUIRE ~ARTIST COLLECTIBLE BEAR~ ~SWEET Beautifully Crafted 24” Lady Country Bear~ Made in Ohio Up for your consideration is a wonderful country lady bear designed and handcrafted by Cindy McQuire. She is an artist bear with a unique sense of style! She is a lovely, sturdy collectible mohair bear. This lovely lady bear is ONE OF A KIND and absolutely adorable!!!!! She measures 24” long and dressed in a red checked flannel dress trimmed with old lace, a sweet collar trimmed with lace and a vintage button. On top of her dress is a homey print apron with bears, moose, trees, apple pie and an assortment of woodsy theme items on the fabric design. She has muslin pantaloons trimmed with lace. A ribbon bow with button completes her look. The bear has a black mohair head and hands (paws) and black/brown glass eyes. She is filled with polyester fiberfill. She is a beautiful bear and a wonderful addition for any collector or as an addition to any home. She is meant to sit and looks just grand sitting in a little chair. This bear is from my personal collection and purchased directly from Ms. McQuire. It is time for her to go to another home since I am downsizing my folk art collection. She is in great condition and comes from a smoke free home. I do not have the original paper tag, but she is labeled as you can see from the photos. I wanted to mention that on the top of her right leg there is stitching that looks like it was a repair but you do not notice it unless you pull up her pantaloons.
