Original framed British watercolor on paper, 12" X 20", signed by Arthur Suker (1857-1940). Landscape marsh scene, 19th-early 20th century. Good, original condition. Framed size: 17" X 24" Born in Cheshire, England, Arthur Suker was the son of John Suker, also a landscape painter. A scholar of art, he is listed as an Artist-landscape Painter in the 1891 census and lived in Chester, Liverpool, Merton, Surrey, and Cornwall. He exhibited at the British Royal Academy in 1886 "By the Western Sea".
