Large Vintage Textile Art Hand Embroidered Crewel Wall Hanging Christian Mary - $500 - (Toledo, OH)

Large crewel embroidered image of Mary. One of a Kind. This was purchased from a convent, so I'm assuming it is a depiction of Mary. The robe applique appears to be made of a vintage 70's lacy/mesh curtain fabric. The details were all hand stitched in yarn. Along the edge you will see some stitching. It appears that the backing was addedafter the image was framed. On the backing (lower corner) some names were stitched into the backing then removed. Framed image measures 32 3/4" x 53 1/2" Questions welcome.**Please contact seller for local pick up.
