2 stunning Vintage Navajo cuffs, silver and channel set stones from late 1970's. - $125 - (Dugger, IN)
Wonderful set of two (2) handcrafted Navajo cuff bracelets, channel set in stones in silver, unmarked but I believe they're in sterling silver. These were purchased in the late 1970's off the wrist of a Navajo woman at a craft show in Scottsdale, Arizona. These cuffs were not for sale but I fell in love with them, especially since I have very small wrists & these were a perfect fit, & after some serious haggling I bought them. These cuffs are beautifully made, each stone is shaped to fit into the silver, most channel set stones are flat but these have tapered ends, very unusual. I do not remember all the stones, there is Turquoise, Black Onyx, Malachite, Lapis, Red Coral, and various types of shells. Can be worn together or separately, both are in pristine condition with no damage. As stated above they are not signed by the maker and not stamped with the silver content. MEASUREMENTS: Bracelet measured inside are 5", each one is 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick. They cannot be adjusted & would fit a 6" around or smaller wrist.
