The Fool SG Gibson guitar vintage cream hand painted - $1,750 - (Winchester, KY)
Here it is folks. Number 6 in my collection on the blocks. About 24 more left after this one. I'm selling all due to retirement and downsizing. I don't play guitar. This has been on my wall for about 12 years. It's beautifully painted. See the detail in the pics. Included is a beat-up case, antiqued and stenciled like when Eric was taking it on the road with Cream. It's awesome. The Fool was a 1964 Gibson SG guitar, painted for Eric Clapton by the Dutch design collective of the same name. One of the world's best-known guitars, it symbolizes the psychedelic era. Clapton used the guitar extensively while playing with Cream and it was an essential element of his famed "woman tone".
