Chaucer's Canterbury Pilgrims - $500 - (Gilmer, TX)

These wooden cut-outs of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Pilgrims were purchased in the late 50s from The Pilgrim's Book Shop in  Canterbury, England.  If I remember correctly, they were created by two sisters with one doing the cut-outs and the other one the painting.  They are very detailed according to Chaucer's description of each character.  They have been displayed in my literary museum and are in excellent condition.
