Vintage Kay Old Kraftsman 'UP BEAT' Jumbo Cutaway Archtop Guitar ! ***NEEDS NECK WORK*** WONDERFUL Pickups! Well - a not-too-unusual scenario here - a GREAT-sounding guitar hampered by the typical Kay neck warp Blues. Seems to start around frets 5-7. Don't think we are talking neck re-set per se, but rather fingerboard removal, neck straightening and re-alignment. Can be played but not much fun. If anyone out there can do this type of repair/restoration, they will be rewarded with an incredibly nice sounding guitar with all the right stuff - Killer looks, Grover tuners, and that so-desirable set of translucent black Kleenex-Box pickups at well below market value! Pickguard is a modern replacement, all else seems original. Sold as a project and priced accordingly.
