This is a lot of 2 used books by William Harris Stahl, Richard Johnson with E.L. Burge entitled: Martianus Capella and the Seven Liberal Arts (The Quadrivium of Martianus Capella & The Marriage of Philosphy and Mercury), Volume 1 & 2 from Columbia University Press. Please see the pictures to see which books are included in the lot. These books come from a collection of old library books that have been used but not checked out in recent years. The books are used but in good condition. The books DO contain a school library stamp and a library card check out envelope glued on back cover. Some books contain slipcovers. All books contain stickers on the spine to indicate where they were located in the library. Some books contain writing inside, but the writing is very minimal if any at all. A few, if any at all, of the pages contain creases or folds. These books are used but cheap and very readable! Please see pictures. I did my best to capture the used yet still enjoyable condition of the collection.
