MINELAB EXPLORER 2 METAL DETECTOR WITH EXTRAS. - $375 - (Chardon, OH)
This is a Minelab Explorer ll metal detector with the standard 10” coil. It works great and would make a great starter machine for someone, or a great backup detector. I have used this detector for some time and have made some great finds with it. It gets exceptional depth and can pick out good targets in trashy areas. The screen has a ding in it at the top and a couple of little melt or chip marks at the top and corner of the control housing as you can see in the pictures, but it is up high enough that it doesn’t interfere with viewing the screen. The screen has a backlight that doesn’t come on, but I personally never used or needed it. Everything else works great as it should. It comes with two rechargeable battery packs and a wall charger, and one AA battery pack. Also included is a new pair of headphones, a Gator digging tool with a sheath, owner’s manual, and a storage bag and pouch. I think you’ll be happy with this machine considering the price.
