Antique Mantle Clock - $950 - (Chico, CA)

This beautiful wooden antique clock is hand painted, It is believed to be from the late 1700's - see last photo above. According to the note it is from England and was brought to America in 1798. The clock keeps time, and the chimes work. The cabinet is in overall good condition especially considering its age. There is some cracking and minor chipping to the paint. The clock measures 24" x 21" x 9 1/2" approximately at the base to the point. The face plate measures roughly 7 1/2". The clock comes with key to wind the clock and another key to lock the back. Please note: the left hand spire is loose and appears to have been previously repainted due to a chip.
