6 yrs old Smart Rocky Mountain Mare gaitedflaxen mane and tail dun - $1,000 - (Martin, GA)

I recently bought this mare as a Christmas present for me and the kids but she is a forward moving gaited horse not for kids. I rode her at Watson Mills Bridge for 2 12 hr she has a motor and is gaited with an excellent head on her shoulders. She never refused or spooked only snorted at a few things and could have cared less about the deer we saw. Just needs some wet saddle pads could be an excellent endurance mount. I have been doing ground work and desensitization since Ive had her to include a pool noodle a deflated pool float and a leaf blower. She never moved a hoof even when we gassed the leaf blower and blew it from her ears on down. She is still green on the bit and as I said needs saddle time. On ground work she will flex both ways break at the poll drop her head and back. 14.214.3 hands well built with lovely flaxen mane and tail and a formal stripe. Sure was a registered Rocky Mountain and dam was a blanket app. Good black hooves. Current coggins. Picks up all 4ft very well for even a child.
